Ethereum Founder Vitalik Buterin Invites Elon Musk to Switch Over to Linux

In a playful exchange on Twitter, tech giant Elon Musk and Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin interacted over the perceived limitations of a new Windows laptop. Musk expressed frustration with being forced to create a Microsoft account to use the device, suggesting this also grants the company access to his computer’s data.

“This is messed up,” Musk tweeted, highlighting the lack of an option to bypass account creation. He further inquired if others were encountering the same issue.

Seizing the opportunity, Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum, responded with a lighthearted invitation: “Would be amazing to have you join us and become a desktop Linux enjoyer!”

    Vitalik Buterin is Linux User

Linux, an open-source operating system, is known for its user privacy and customizability, offering an alternative to the data collection practices often associated with proprietary software. Buterin’s suggestion playfully nudges Musk towards a solution that aligns with his concerns about user data and control.

While the exchange doesn’t necessarily indicate Musk is considering a switch, it highlights the ongoing discussion around user privacy and the choices available in the tech landscape.
